For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Update about Polish night:

Come and taste real home made lard on bread and sour cucumbers as an appetizer and as a main dish traditional Polish Bigos :)

Except great food there will be Polish music (different kinds) and games.

So prepare your stomachs for loads of fat and lots of fun during the first Polish Night in Changchun :)

It won't be a buffet just a dinner we start at 7 but if sb will be late it's no problem u can order a dish at any time :) it's hard to say how much it might be but for sure not more than 50-60 RMB per person (it all depends on the prices of ingredients)
