For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I have a great game of trivial pursuit on the Xbox, which allows the users to pick American or English questions. Visually on a big screen it's nice to watch...

I don't think it will work on a Windows 7 box, but in Windows XP, if you run the game in compatibility mode, it should be ok.

I have a CD rom of this game somewhere at home as well but I never managed to make it work so far. I'll bring it tonight and we will see if we can make it work for a future event. What do you think Richard?

I like your idea about the "Who wants to be a Beerllionaire", though. Somewhere around here I have the "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" computer game. I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

Or maybe create an other event about knowledge like "who wants to be a beerllionnaire" or "questions to a champion" (based on the french "question pour un champion")...different format than the quizz, like with buzzer, maybe not by teams but individualy! And of course Chris would prepapre the questions so no one will ever know he cheated this time!:-)
