For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Event Description

For the first time in Changchun, more than twenty international performers will be gathered on the same stage for your greatest joy.

 

Come and try to recognize the 15 languages that you hear that night and win prizes!

 

From hip hop to industriel metal and from chinese pop to ethnic dance, be part of the Changchun melting pot!

 

Go get there : go to fuzhi da lu light rail station and then follow the arrows!

Jeff, I am sorry to see that our two events are on the same day and I hope you understand that it is not my intention to compete with the power of couchsurfing (which I think is the best invention since Macgyver's retirement). We had technical difficulties that made us postpone the concert and advertise it late. You can imagine how difficult it is to make 20 artists schedules coincide together. I will not forget to advertise your event to the artists and attendees of our event.

I can not tell exactly what time the whole thing will end but shouldn t be latter than 9.

I see your event ends at 9. We should just be starting about then....

Feel free to bring the "Sound of Changchun" over to the HAPPY HOME and COUCHSURFING when you are done!

Here's a rough idea of the schedule of our "COUCHSURFING DAY"......

Setting: 2 couches. 1 couch will face the screen. 2 contestant. They answer 5 questions. The 5th question is a "beer", "prize" or "candy" question. There is a "winner"....then 2 more contestants.
