For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Fabulous party Jeff! But I had to teach the next day.....damn!
Everyone is welcome to the COUCHSURFING party.
If someone wants to come as Chinese Santa Claus, English Santa Claus, Indian Santa Claus, Lithuanian Santa Claus, a Gay Santa Claus or any other group.... I have no problem with that.
Parties at the same time?
Looks like there are 4 at the same time tommorrow..... it would make a great "pub crawl".
Check it out:
6 pm- INTERCULTURALITY PARTY
7 pm- COUCHSURFING PARTY
8 pm- BIRTHDAY PARTY
9 PM- THE MENTAL HOSPITAL PARTY
I am at Happy Home right now. We have a giant COUCHSURFING poster up....and lots of Christmas stuff. Shashi never mentioned anything about another event. I will ask.....
Jeff - It looks like carlo from Changchun Stuff is also organising a party at happy Home from 9.00pm - have you checked with happy Home? I think carlo may have just posted without checking
Does this help Richard and Richard?

What is CouchSurfing?
Imagine having an interesting friend wherever you go -- whether that’s 2,000 miles away, or right in your hometown.
With millions of members in over 230 countries and territories around the world, CouchSurfing is blazing the trail towards a better, friendlier world where people who are different from one another can find their similarities. We are a community, and we are a movement. If you believe that all types of people can share fun, trust, and friendship, then you belong here.
How does CouchSurfing work?
When you join CouchSurfing, you tap into our network of welcoming people worldwide. You can share your hospitality and experience your city through new eyes by offering travelers a place to stay on their journey. You can bypass the typical hotel experience by staying at the home of a local and learning about their culture. You can meet open-minded people in your home city by attending events. And you can meet up with new people, whether at home or while traveling, for inspiring experiences and new friendships.
Its a mystery, a puzzle, a conundrum, a puzzle, a riddle, a paradox.....
Surprise and variety are the spice of life....
Still no idea what is going to happen here - suppose I might meet some new people!
jeff - could we change the time so that it finishes on the same day? - that means we keep the Events board looking fairly clean. Thanks
