For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

I have just finishes the film 3 Idiots. An Indian romantic comedy/drama.Absolutely brilliant! 3 engineering students and their travails through college. I have now seen it three times. It is that good!

It is really good movie by great indian actor (Mr.perfect) Aamir khan!  i would recommend other movie of him Tare zameen paar , it is really sensible movie!

my favorite film of all time has to be "alien" directed by ridley scott. I love this movie and it still scares me now!

Im a big fan of Edgar Wright and his films Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, both excellent but different Brit comedies.

I downloaded 3 Idiots and watched 5 minutes but it didn't grab me so I went back to my book. A week later my internet was down and all I had to watch was the 3 Idiots. The second 5 minutes are electric - watch and see why. From then on the movie is just pure magic and I haven't enjoyed a film like this for years. Thanks Richard - this is a little gem - well not so little it's 3 hours long. My favourite scene was when the 2 keys are thrown. Only downside is subtitles that take your eyes away from what's happening on screen - I will watch again soon.
