用法说明

       这句话的重点在后半部分的“走着瞧”， 其中“瞧”是“看”的意思，前半句是一种形象性的说明，骑着驴看唱本，就是一边“走”一边“瞧”。“走着瞧”表面的意思是一边走一边看，引申为等着看事物发展的结果，也可以表达一种预料到事物必然结果的胸有成竹的语气。一般用于被人看不起或者不相信的情景中，作用主要有两种：一种是反驳对方的轻视或者怀疑，意思是“你等着，时间会证明，我是有能力的/我的看法是对的……”；另一种是对于对方的轻视表示出以后要做出报复的威胁。这句话还可以加上“我们”、“咱们”做句子的主语；后边的“走着瞧”有时也可以省略。

The latter part is the key of the whole sentence and "瞧(qiáo)" in this part means "看(kàn)" (to look or read). The former part is a vivid description — someone is reading a play script while riding a donkey. The literal meaning of the latter part is to read or watch something while moving. The extended meaning is to wait and see the result. It can also express a tone of confidence of the speaker in the result he/she has expected. This sentence is usually used in the situation when you are despised or doubted by others. This expression has two main functions: one is to retort the despising or doubt of the opposite part and to indicate that "You just wait and see; I will show you sooner or later that I'm right or I have the ability to do it"; the other is to express a tone of threat and to indicate that the opposite part will be revenged because of the despising he/she has showed to the speaker. You can use "我们(wǒmen)", "咱们(zánmen)" (both mean "we") as the subject in this sentence. Sometimes, the latter part "走着瞧(zǒu zhe qiáo)" can be omitted.

     Jiă: Méi cuò, wǒ jiù shì ɡùyì de, nǐ nénɡ bǎ wǒ zěnmeyànɡ?
