用法说明

这个结构“动词 不 动词 由你”中“不”字前后用同一个动词（一般是一个汉字），意思是“做不做由你自己决定”，例如“看不看由你”意思是“看还是不看，由你自己决定”；“吃不吃由你”意思是“吃还是不吃，你自己决定”。

In the structure “verb 不（bù/bú）  verb 由你（yóu nǐ） ”, the two verbs used here are actually the same one (usually a single syllable verb). The structure means “it’s up to you to do sth. or not”. For example, “看(kàn)不看由你” means “It’s up to you to see it or not.” “吃(chī)不吃由你 ” means “It’s up to you to eat it or not.”

1、甲：他每个月工资一万元，这怎么可能呢？
Jiă: Tā měigè yuè de gōngzī yíwàn yuán, zhè zěnme kěnéng?
A: His monthly wage is 10,000 yuan. How come?

乙：我听他老婆说的，信不信由你！
Yǐ: Wǒ tīng tā lǎopo shuō de, xìn bú xìn yóu nǐ!
