Golden Boy - Brilliant new cop show based on a true story of the rise of the youngest NY police commissioner. Really like this one.
House of Cards - American political drama with Kevin Spacey - This is an American version of the British show.
Elementary - Good fun show with great performances from the leads. Modern day Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson played by Lucy Liu

Just watched another great HBO series "Boss".. A modern type Boardwalk Empire but set in Chicago. Mostly deals with the political machine that is well known if your from there. I give it a thumbs up.

Thanks Richard it looks great.
BTW have you seen the new movie Brave with a great cast of character voices. Billy Connelly and the Scottish King and Emma Thompson as his queen.
It is really great and the quality of the actual animation just amazing. The whole Scottish countryside is dazzling. It's hard to think how they can make animation better without going into a new area such as 3D.
Highly recommended on many levels.

I think Skyfall was the biggest gross earner of all time when it was released - at least for the opening weekend
Have to say I prefer Bourne Films but Craig is good as Bond

Skyfall - the latest 007 James Bond movie has one helluva start.
It's mind boggling how they do it but chase scenes don't come better than this.
Never been a Bond film plot fan but love the gadgets and the OTT baddies. Recently the plots are becoming more realistic. The Roger Moore era nearly killed it for me but the current Bond, Daniel Craig is up there with Sean Connery. And Judi Dench is just marvellous in whatever she does.
