For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Latest Hall of Fame poster. Mostly all of the photos I have acquired by  ferreting around and I still need a few names - Alvin and Langle or Langlee - I seen both. I've dealt with the stretching and it is almost complete. Please comment soon as it will be printed in the near future.

It's got nothing to do with football apart from I was watching it at the time.

But it great to have you thinking about it.

Yes, I agree with Matt - I have a little stretching to eliminate but this is only a draft for comment and to change spelling, pictures etc.

How about "Citing a United" and having it in sky blue?

Kaye was a great teacher who worked at Dong Bei Shi Da Fu Xiao and was nominated by teachers that knew her. I briefly met her a few times around 4 years ago. I also took over a lot of her classes and know she left great classes and students, who still talk fondly of her today.

"Uniting a City?" In that case Andy and Amy would be #1 and #2, they got us all united all right. Looks great Martin, well done. I like Jack and Janet in the middle. My regret is that I don't know who Kaye is.

No fan just looking at the 2 names side by side on my TV screen.

Very good - presumably from a man U fan!

I got the idea for the motto "Uniting  a city" from the big Manchester United and Manchester City match. I was sitting trying to watch the game and think of a suitable motto at the same time and it just hit me. I think it is perfect.

Sorry Ferney - I don't know how I could mistake you for such a handsome fellow.

Sal if you want a different pic then send the one you want = no problem to change - I will get a big poster printed once everyone is happy. And yes we need more females and I'm sure we'll get them next year.

Comment by Sal on January 17, 2012 at 17:27

Nice, but please use a different pic for me. We need more females. Great job Martin, this alone should put you in the Hall

Just a draft. I can change photos of anyone easily but these are the only photos I have in most cases - most cropped out of a bigger photo or snapped from a video. So anyone wanting a new photo then send to m_hendrick@hotmail.com
