For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

The first match would appear to be Brazil vs Croatia and willl start at 4.00am on Friday 13th June but the next match will be on at midnight our time on Frday night

Ok - less than 100 days to go. We are going to have to think about how we can watch these matches. They are all on at some unbelievable hour so we will probably need to either record them or have somewhere that shows repeats

As for being optimistic Richard, you should know by now that being an Englishman means you have to always hype the national team to such an extent, that whatever we achieve will be regarded as failure....

I think the two groups of death are the German group and the Spain group. The English group looks tasty!

Bring on Italy and Uruguay! - not optimistic but here we go!
