Thanks Richard for that tip.  I have someone from my work picking me up at the airport, and that is why I wasn't able to take the flight that Simon offered which arrives a bit before midnight.  It would be too late to get picked up. 

But this info is good in case I run into problems with a ride.  By the way, this will be my first time in Changchun and in China, so my guess is I'll be using this site quite often.

Michael - I don't know if you know Changchun but a taxi from the airport will be about 80-100 RMB into the centre of town

 

there is a speed train but this stops at about 8-9 pmAlso, coaches but do not know anything about them!

Thanks for the info on the visa and the airlines.  The flight is a bit late for me, but I found one with the following info for the same day:

	Take-off	Fri 2:40p	PVG	Shanghai, SH, China
	Landing	Fri 5:00p	CGQ	Changchun, JL, China

The itinerary looks ok and the listed price on Kayak is a bit pricy: $366 incl. taxes.  Would you by any chance have connections for a lower rate?

The flight leaves Hong Kong at 18:20pm and arrives in Changchun at 23:50pm

That sounds like the best price I can get right now.  When does it fly out of Hong Kong?  The earlier the better for me.   And what is the best way we can work this out?

Another quick question:   I am coming into Changchun on a Business Visa - do I need a R/T ticket?  Or is one way ok?
