For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Would it be possible for you, instead of World Life Club, to come in Jingyue to play at my place to avoid this to happen again. What do you think?

Hi everyone, yesterday after the game I forgot to put back the scotch to hold the drawers and guess what happened... the drawers fall down on the street, and even though I worked on it yesterday and today I still have a lot of work to repair everything. I now hesitate to get out with the miniatures again...

I just played this battle twice already and really don't mind being the referee. I thought John could play French this time and the two Richard Prussian and Bavarian, so that even not sober at all, lord Richard could win!

So perhaps Sebastian and his know how tries to carry the French to victory in what statistically speaking is impossible.

Good idea!

Just an idea, but could this be a team game. What I mean is that Sebastian should play, and perhaps John heads up the other side, then whoever comes divides between the two sides accordingly. Just think the "ring master" should play as well as us, gives Sebastian a tad more enjoyment out of it!

can I be the drunk English general again?

Sounds like a suicide mission, but I will be there.

I'm in! - timing is ok for me

Hello everybody, I propose the 7th of April for the next game, Wissembourg, a kind of suicide mission for the 8 French  against 35 Prussian and Bavarian battalions. 12 turns only, 3-4 hours should be enough. Anyone interested?
