For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

By the way - it is de Backstubbe which creates the different breads. Sorry if this is confusing people. Must keep this blog about Sam's!

This is going to be an establishment and an icon in the chun. Im popping over to get somefresh herbs tomorrow. Good stuff to everyone who has made this place a reality, especially good luck to brooke and derek. What a great idea!

Hi. They now create a load of different breads. Go there any day around 12 .00 and ask them what they have. The Big Dane is ordering his bread for the Danish evening tomorrow from Die Backstubbe.

Just been there and it is really good. Already Brooke has got a great selection of breads, cheeses, sausages, bacon, hash browns, sauces, spices, foreign beer and spirits, snacks, fruit, and so much more. This is a great beginning and this [lace will be wonderful in the future. As they say it's just to the left of Grandma's on the second floor.
