For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Ben great to hear that you want to write for the magazine. We need people who are willing to write articles and interviews ;)
Thanks Ruth for joining and offering your help. When we organize an open meeting for everybody that want to support the magazine hope you will be able to come ;)
Chris thanks for the info we will put this event in the first issue and for sure we will write some article about it in the next one.
The 5th Annual Changchun Foreign Friends Games has been posted here on CCF. The dates are the 24th and 25th of May!
i like this idea of issuing a local magazine. it always helps a lot to new one to the town. in tokyo you can find those magazines easily in restaurants, supermarket, and bar. … well, i don't know how to involved at this moment, but let me know if anything i can do.
Welcome Ben great you want to help us. Richard is right there will be an open day for everybody that would like to contribute but don't know exactly when but I will keep you all updated.
Chris please write to the organizer if you can :)
I can write to the organizer of the event and find out dates and such.
I should also remind you, Murin, that the 4th Annual Changchun Foreign Friends Games is coming up soon. Probably in May, as it was last year. You might want to ask Mark if he can do some photography, and we can list the winners in a special feature. I won't be able to do much as I am competing.
