For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Well, we will see if Nicholas the Octopus has the vision - interesting times!

That would depend upon the scores, Richard.  If Germany win, they are through as group winners. If Holland win, they are through IF they win by more than one goal AND Germany beat Denmark.

The BBC website has a full rundown of all possible permutations.

Interestingly, Germany CAN still go out, but it would be very unlikely.

OK Nicholas = you have put your neck on the line here!

My guess - both Gemany and Netherlands will win

Not sure what that does for the positions in the group

Let's see if I can keep my status as a mediocre pundit alive:

I say: a shock Danish victory against Germany and a lucky equalizer from Portugal (probably by Ronaldo) against a revitalized Netherlands team, will see Denmark qualify as group winners, and Germany as runners-up.

 Germany 2 Denmark 1

 Holland 1 Portugal 1

That would leave the first QFs as Czech Republic Vs Germany and Denmark Vs Greece.

Standard Proviso, of course: I'm never rarely right.
