For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.
Mason is this jolly chap who keeps stealing content from this site and posting it elsewhere without asking us! Jolly good show. That is what I like to see - ethical business practices!
Anyway - he is very elusive - no-one has ever seen him! Is he the figment of some master of the Universe?
We seek him here!
We seek him there!
We Frenchies seek him everywhere
Is he in heaven?
Is he in hell?
Come on Mason, please tell!
The poem is a take on the Scarlet Pimpernell by the way - fitting as the latest theft was for a French meeting organised by Vinz!

Don't worry, Sir Richard. I already assumed that you have a high standard for identification.
I have just realised of course that China is the home of copying - Gucci, Prada, Rolex. The question is how good is the copy and what value does it have? 50,000? So, I think we can now claim to have our own fake website!
I think we are honoured!
Not as simple as that John - he has to show identification!
Let me get this straight: if I present him to the wine and cheese event and he identifies himself as "the Mason" who has been claiming CCF events as his own, then I collect 500RMB. Correct?
Actually John, it would be good of him to appear at the wine and cheese evening on Sunday at Grandma's that I am organising but he also seems to be hosting it. We could chink a glass of red together and he could tell me about the ethics classes he teaches - I gather he is a teacher.
He must appear and identify himself at one of the events that he has stolen the details of!
500 RMB reward? Hmmmm, sounds good, but what are the bounty collection rules?
