For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Changchun Friends

a great way to get involved

A wonderful Italian Holiday in BEIJING,

Now, isnt this a wonderful plan for a magic weenekend in beijing in a Roman Holiday style?

A) arrive in Beijing on Saturday august the 11, in the morning. Check in in hotel and then go for a wonderful lunch at CIRO POMODORO at Sanlitun. Then by 7 pm move to the Olympic stadium (the bird nest) for watching the final of the Italian Super Cup league between JUVENTUS and NAPOLI!

B) Then on Sunday move to the National Museum where you will be able to enjoy real Raffaello's, Michlenagelos, Leonardo's and Botticellis at the exhibition called RENAISSANCE IN FLORENCE: the Protagonists and spend the whole day there.

C) the go for a bite of pizza and coffee at the italian restaurant at the big mall in wang fu Jing, then leave.

Well...this is my plan? Wanna join?

Hi Alex. Did you get to the match?

Sounds wonderful to be honest, but I just asked "the Boss" and she said I can only travel down for one football match this summer. So I think I will stick with the Man. City Arsenal game. I do want to see Man.City live, if only its just to see who beat my Manchester this year.
Italian weekends sounds so wonderful and easy to plan in Beijing! Do we have fish and chips with a side of mushy peas in Beijing?
Or are the rolling stones or pink flloyd passing through on tour? Probably NOT!
Enjoy the match Alex, sure it will be a memorable weekend!
