For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Changchun Friends

a great way to get involved

If you've visited any of the seven wonders of the world could give us your experience and hang a picture.

I visited this pyramid the first time in 1992 and the experience was awesome. The perfection and majesty left me speechless. Contemplates in silence as if trying in this way to thank the builders of this true wonder.

In 2007, Chichen Itza's El Castillo was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World after a worldwide vote http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chichen_Itza

I would have to say the Angel Falls in Venezuela, not made made, but still a natural wonder and the worlds tallest water fall on the planet.

Thanks Sergio, I wish the groups broke up more and they could have done all 7. But I'll take the 3 they did.

As a further question to this thread and to follow on from Sergio

What are the wonders of the world from the country you all come from

In no particular order, for the UK (both man made and natural)

Stonehenge

Glastonbury Tor (King Artur and all that)

Fountains Abbey (Fabulous to just walk around)

St Pauls Cathedral (hats off to Christopher Wrenn!)

Kings College, Cambridge (Superb views)

hampton Court Palace (love that place)

York cathedral (just awesome)

Lords cricket ground! (yes!)

..... and that is just to start with!

Chicken Pizza! Love it!

I have been to the Coloseum, the Great Wall, Ely cathedral, and hagia Sophia (awesome, considering the short time it was built in)
