For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Watched XMen: First Class and it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, focusing on Xavier and Erik Lenscher and how they became Prof X and Magneto respectively. Heard there may be a sequel too, so i look forward to that.

Michael Fassbender was brilliant as Magento i thought.

Just watched the Adjustment bureau. A film based on a Philip Dick (?) novel

Strange film - but do we have free will?

I will say no more!

Do you know there is going to be aanother movie in the Alien franchise , which is called Prometheus, with Scott directing again. It was supposed to be a prequel to Alien, but will be more of a stand alone film apparently

They are making a film of Tinker taylor Sodier Spy! Simply the best John Le carre novel around. I loved the original BBC series

I like "Lucky#Slevin". Unbelivable, it didn't make it into german cinemas... But also films like "The usual suspects", Charles Chaplins "The great Dictator" (makes more thinking than laughing), "The Lives of others" or "The Adjustment Bureau"

What about Monthy Python's series? I think a handful of british guys know what I mean saying: "One cross each!" Not possible making it better...
