For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

a great way to get involved

I have a friend visiting in a few weeks who wants to see the Pagoda in Nong'an . Has anyone been that could offer any advice as to how to get there? or if its worth it. etcetc.

been there and looked at that  Pagoda and the city is small ,my advice  is not worth it to go and you may goggle it pictures and it is easier )

Yeah it does seem kind of little. I myself am not big on cultural places of interest, more about alcoholic places of interest. But she seems to want to go to a pagoda for some reason.

about  the alcoholic places  i have a nice place for advicing ! ) the russian cafe of changchun's  , there  have different alcohols for sell , you can take them away or just stay there and drink  ))

I think I went by taxi but there is, I believe, atrain there. The Changchun-Baicheng train
