For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.
I have to go back to the states in less than two months, and unfortunately I can't take my dog.
Meet Xikang. My friend found this lucky little mutt near Happy Home several months ago and took her in. I've spent the last few months training her, playing with her and watching her grow. I'm sad to leave her, but I have no choice.
Xikang is adorable, playful, energetic and affectionate. One minute she'll be trying to pull you off the couch playing tug-tug, and the next she'll be resting her head on your lap. She loves people and enjoys meeting other dogs. She is 80% house trained, and getting better every day. She is around 6 or 7 months old and in excellent health. No matter how rough your day is, you can count on her to meet you with a wagging tail and a smiling face.

I would really like to take Xikang, but right now I already have a dog named Kehan.
I hope Xikang finds a good new master.
What breed (or breeds) is this dog?
Not sure. I've done some research but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about Chinese dog breeds. She's small, long bodied, has medium fur length, floppy ears and a curly tail. I think she's part of a fairly common breed.

Does she have her shots? If she leaves your home, does she have anything familiar for her new place, ie, dish, chew/pull toys, etc.?
