For the most part, the Changchun Friends website is not very active and has been superseded by the Tencent "Wechat" app by the local expat community. This website is maintained sporadically, people may still join and membership is still open, but if you are a spammer, stay away. The archived information here is still useful, but some may be out of date. There are plans to make it more useful for static information in the future. If anyone needs information about Changchun or China, you may post a message and it probably will get a response but not immediately.

Hi Clement,  The Turkey Potluck Lunch was a HIT at our two international programs @ Changchun Shiyi High School!!!!  The turkey was moist & the chestnut dressing was to die for!!!  YUM!!!  Our Canadian & American staff loved the lunch and it was a great way to celebrate both countries Thanksgiving..  Thanks Again,  I will probably do this again next Thanksgiving...  ;>))

My staff has discussed having it for Lunch on Thursday, Nov 22nd.  Is that a possibility???  Also, the sides you indicated below are:  Baked or Roasted Potatoes, Stewed Asparagus, Baked Corn and "Dip Pumpkins" (What is "Dip Pumpkins"?), correct???  Let me know so I can tell my staff and I can order...  ;>))  Ann-Marie Clements

Yes its actually possible to deliver the food anywhere in Changchun, I am not sure yet but maybe nee to pay a little transportation fee. I ll let you know soon

I have a staff of teachers who are American, Canadian & Chinese and this would be a great way to blend both of our North American Thanksgiving Days and introduce it to our Chinese staff!!!  We don't drive in China.  My question to Clement is, "Is there a chance we could have the Turkey dinner deliver to my place???"  ;>))
