National Anthems - Your Favourite

I was with my old mate Pierre the other night at Granma's havin a quiet brew, and we got to talking about national anthems. We both agreed that the Russian National Anthem is the best. Really powerful stuff. I also added in that the French, although somewhat violent in its lyrics, is a crackerjack anthem.

What do think?

Pick one, but not your own nations anthem, and the first country to reach, lets say, 10 hits will be the winner. I start the ball rolling at The Russian Federation, first hit.

Now, if Dear Old Blighty would only adopt 'Jerusalem' as the National Anthem, THEN you'd have a stormer.

Comment by The Choonies on April 8, 2012 at 9:50: I like the South African and the Tanzanian anthems - we don't really have a Scottish anthem - unofficially it's Oh Flower of Scotland - but it's a song about fighting the English army so it's never been accepted.
