Thats right pearl. This educational centre is perfect for not only chinese, but everyone to come together and appreciate culture...and make friends.

A community art party including art,performances, and music from Changchun's creative community -- both Chinese and expat -- as well as contributions from around the world:

-Photography, painting, illustrations, film, and live performance from over 60 participants, including submission from Europe, Africa, South and North America.

-Live music from Chinese and foreign artists. Performers include: Kidda Vitaly (Russia) & Alex Indigo (Argentina),Detlef Wilkesmann (Germany), Swify Spliff (Russia),XUSHAI Dance Group (China),Sveta/Katya/Lena (Russia),ZHANGCHI;ZHANGKUO;LIXIAO;XIAOLIANG;

This weekend we have a special treat for all of you just arriving back to the city, or are new to Changchun.

On Saturday 25th of February from 7pm onwards, we have a Russian themed party/festival called Maslenitsa. Come along and enjoy live performances, music, games and jokes with everyone. And obviously all the lovely Russian people we have in Changchun.

On Sunday 26th of February, we will as always be serving our great full-English breakfast and a few other select items. Always perfect for those Sundays where fuel for the body is needed!!!! Great Hang over cure;)

Great night last night at the Choonies! Richard picked up the big one, whilst the late Jack Murray was remembered in a fitting tribute by Dennis.

The Choonies is the first awards ceremony for outstanding work within the Changchun community. The provisional date for the event is the 7th of January 2012 at the World Life Club where we hope to attract a big audience for the The First Choonie Awards ceremony. We will  celebrate the best contibutions to 2011 as well as start our own Hall of Fame for Changchun friends that have made a major contribution to our community in the past up to the present day.

Time: January 7, 2012 from 7pm to 10pm
