Dear Friends and Family,

Gaea and I want to thank you all for your support and kind letters. WLC seems to have really made an impact o your lives and that brings happiness and joy to Gaea and I.
The future is uncertain, but we have had a little time to consider our options and have decided that we won't give up, and we will look at how we can keep WLC alive in not only our hearts and minds, but also in a physical presence within Changchun city.
Gaea and I will hold 2 special events before the new year. We hope that you can attend. We will let you know in the near future about the details. WLC will also be at the Shangrila hotel on December 1st for the annual Charity Christmas fair, so be sure to come and support us. You can find further details at http://richardroman.ning.com/events/shangri-la-charity-christmas-fair. WLC is also supplying the hotel with some professionally trained opera singers we call 'Changchun's 3 tenors', and they are brilliant. They should offer a wonderful ambience to the fair.
Gaea and I also would like you to tell us about any places you know about that could be a good location for a future WLC. So if you know of any hidden treasures in the city, let us know please.
Well just keep warm, winter is upon us and we both hope to see you all in the near future.

Richard! If something happens, it means that after will be better and better! This is always like that! There is a big choice of good places for the club in Changchun, you'll find it soon. We are with you and Gaea always :):):):):)

Like the proverbial phoenix.... the WLC will rise again.

Best club in all of China. I say that having lived all up and down China's east coast. A school, club and pub all under one roof.

You could move the United Nations from New York to Changchun as every island, hamlet, territory and country is well represented at the WLC.

But I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced the glory of WLC last week; such a beautiful gathering!

I still can't believe it! Who took the decision to close you? Why? Didn't you have the authorities'support? I remember clearly an official saying WLC and CC freinds together was the best network to bring chinese and foreigners together IN CHINA!...
